From Following to Leading

Series: Getting Past Your Past Too often we let our past negatively impact our future. Jesus helps us to leverage our mistakes to create a life marked by freedom and joy. Week 3: From Following to Leading Peter wasn’t always a good fisherman or follower of Jesus. In one conversation he told Jesus he’d die for him, but in  another conversation he denied even knowing Jesus. As up and down as Peter’s life was, the love Jesus had for him was steady and constant. In this message, we will see Jesus forgive Peter’s failures in a way that should give hope to every person who has made a royal mess of their lives.

Week 2: From Captivity To Freedom Like us, Paul was a rule breaker and a rule keeper. In one breath he’d tell people he was too good to be condemned. Paul is a great example of how God’s grace is for everyone and covers every sin. In this message we will look at how sin wants to hold  us hostage while Jesus wants to set us free.

Week 1: From Isolation To Friendship Matthew was a Jewish man who worked for the despised Roman government. His life was marked by isolation because he robbed his own people to pay off crooked politicians and kept a portion for himself. Jesus invited this hated man to leave his occupation and lifestyle behind and Matthew didn’t hesitate. He even threw a party so people could meet the man who changed his life. In this message we will look at how our friendship with Jesus can breathe hope into all of our other friendships.
