Series: Jesus said: John 13:34-35 “ A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” This new command would become the overarching ethic for His new movement, us the church. This new command would become the identifier, the thing that marks His followers, as His followers. This new command would become so much of a priority that the new Testament writers wouldn’t give us a bunch of rules and regulations, but they would give us a bunch of applications, or how we are to apply this new command to all the one another’s in our lives. That’s what we are going to talk about.
Today: Sometimes, if we’re not careful, we think God is more concerned about what we know rather than what we do…we think God is impressed by devotion that doesn’t have any motion…but love requires us to put some motion to our devotion.
